you’re allowed to slow down to regroup. I know a lot of things can seem like “DO IT NOW DO IT WELL DO IT FASTER DO MORE WHILE YOU’RE AT IT SELF IMPROVE GET SKINNER GET FITTER GET SMARTER BE YOU BUT BETTER GRIND WHATEVER else they say”, but all of that is meaningless unless you’re moving in the right direction. Slow down, verify you’re walking with God leading you, not the flesh, not your desires outside of Christ, not your emotions, thennnnnnnn do it now, do it well, do it faster, do more, self improve, get skinner, get fitter, get smarter, be you but better, grind gently. you’re too smart to be bullied by foolish wisdom into manifesting the results of the world. been there done that okay. love you. i’m cheering you on.

🍨 thinking thoughts 🍦

I was sitting in my thinking chair, having my coffee as I typically do in the mornings before the day starts, and I heard in my spirit “that phase of your life will come, don’t rush seasons.”

I assumed I had a train of thought going somewhere in the background about how great it will be Someday when xyz happens, and what it’ll be like, how it’ll feel…and that thought came to break up the energy I was building. That’s what the Holy Spirit does, and often with me. God is with me, and He’s with you. Always there comforting, counseling, consoling, encouraging, bringing you joy, just being the best friend you’ve ever had, and always present.

That phase of life will come.

Imagine the chaos if we all lived the same phase of life at the same time. We’d all die at the same time, we couldn’t be at each others’ weddings, we’d be celebrating birthdays on the same day, graduating, commemorating milestones, all of it.

So again.

I don’t know what you’re wishing happened sooner, or now, or yesterday, but, my dear that phase of life will come. Do. Not. Rush.

Rest your mind, you won’t miss it in Jesus name.
