It’s December! More to come on why this December is unlike any other but I will save that for Sunday. Let’s program our minds for the weekend shall we?

Affirmation

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places through perfect love.

Understanding

I’ve been seeing so many videos and Tiktoks of people instructing or teaching about identity switching, quantum leaping, or transforming their realities through habit forming, visualizing (we’re all aces at this wink wink), and the use of visual suggestion (e.g. vision boards etc.). A new year is before us, 2023, we’re eagerly awaiting you, so this makes sense.

Creating a plan to adopt a new identity is easy, affirming in a way that reinforces your new identity and planning to act as if is easy. Making your 17th vision board of the year and changing your phone background to it is easy. What’s not easy is convincing yourself that you are this new creation that you believe will lead a happier more fulfilled life.

I was reading a book, Power Healing by John Wimber and Kevin Springer and was led to a parable in the Bible where Jesus basically tells Peter his disciple, that when he was young he could wear whatever he wanted and go wherever he wanted, but when he is old, he (Peter) will stretch our his hands, and another will clothe him, and carry him where he doesn’t want to go (John 21:18).

I had a powerful revelation about the difference and parallel between those two statements. We can go in circles for ever, deciding on new identities to take on, new ways to be, new ideas of what we envision our happiness to be, almost aimlessly, in a way that ends in discouragement, disillusionment, and frustration (wearing whatever we want, going wherever we want) or we can accept our new identity in perfect love, that’s always existed (being clothed by another), and has always been waiting for us to assume. We will die to our old earthly expressions of ourselves (going where our ego doesn’t want to go, flesh never wants to die) and become new.

Making this decision, to let the flesh die and instead learn the Way of Love, its thoughts, words, and deeds, will transform your reality. Your transformed reality will teach others to do the same through example, thus bringing them to the Way of Love. You will activate your spirit’s ability to receive every spiritual blessing available, the pathways for their reception will be wide open as there will be nothing to obstruct them like old thinking, fears, limiting beliefs, unforgiveness, old patterns, and incorrect learned perceptions of who you are. Remember this in all of your plotting for 2023.
