Welcome to the 37th week of the year. There are 52 in a year so technicalllyyyyyy, you have more left than you think you do.
What will you do with it?
You are exactly what God wanted, end of story. For my OG’s this visualization exercise will make you feel all the warm feelings you forgot you were capable of feeling.
And then just a lil treatise on gluttony and how to get over it because we’re too old and too alive to be oppressed by something so silly and terrible.
Remember. You’re a speaking spirit. What you speak creates after itself, so speak life.
✨AFFIRMATIONS✨
I am prosperous. My diligent hands bring prosperity into my life. I bless others from the overflow. My path is ever brighter. I am a wellspring of the wisdom and counsel of God. Kings send for me from afar.
Declare this as often as you’d like. I felt virtue go into these words as I typed them so I wouldn’t play with it if I were you lol.
✨DECLARATIONS✨
[Your First & Last Name] is made in the image and likeness of God.
You want to repeat this aloud for about 5 minutes and eventually build up to an hour. I hit 20 minutes this week! The goal isn’t just duration. The goal is to feel the spirit of God within you wake up and begin to pray on your behalf. For some people it’ll be less time, for others more, but if you do it conciously, as you go, you’ll begin to hear almost like a whisper, statements. Those statements are the Holy Spirit speaking. Whatever you hear, declare it aloud. You’re creating hwat you’re hearing.
Cool right? That’s how God created the Earth, you’re made in His likeness remember?
SURPRISE!!!!!?!!?!?!!
I introduce to you to Perfect 10 From Love Itself, our new bookclub. I was challenged by one of my leadership mentors to read a book a week. Not a fiction book, but a nonfiction book. I’m Miss Kindle extraordinaire so this is actually a challenge. 😭
Why you gotta bring us into it?
Becauseeeeee. After each week, I’ll be compiling the following:
10 major principles/lessons from the book
10 ways I’ll apply the principles/lessons to my life
10 ways I’ll use the principles/lessons to affect other lives
A short book review
However.
I’ll only be sharing the 10 major principles/lessons with you all. :) <3
If you want to joinnn
You can keep up with it all on Substack chat. I know, another thing to do, but as we all know, I’m all for being my best self, and helping you be your own, so I’ll always offer. In the future, I know we’ll have a dedicated group just for Perfect 10, but this is the perfect place to start.
You’ll grow just by reading the takeaways, I know it. You can peep the book here on Amazon and because I love you, I found a PDF.
Here’s a RECAPP of what we got into this week on Nourish!
We’ve been talking all about control—or should I say, letting go of control. We often convince ourselves that if we don’t manage every little detail, things will fall apart. But the truth? You don’t have to be God for God. He’s always been in control, long before you ever thought you had to be.
This week, we looked at Boaz’s story in Ruth 4. Boaz went to the city gate, handled business, and trusted the process—no shortcuts, no manipulation, just faith. He knew that what was meant for him would come. That’s a word for us, too! What’s meant for you will always find its way to you, even when it feels like things are slipping away.
Here Are the Big Takeaways:
Trust the Process
Boaz didn’t rush or try to control the outcome. He trusted that everything would unfold in God’s perfect timing. So where in your life are you trying to rush things? What if you trusted that God’s timing is always better than yours?
“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in His way.” – Psalm 37:23Invite Peace Into Chaos
Whenever life feels chaotic, it’s usually a sign that God’s presence is missing from that space. Boaz knew that by trusting in God’s order, he would find clarity. What areas of your life feel messy or out of control? Where do you need to invite God in to bring peace and order?
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” – 1 Corinthians 14:33Rest in Restoration
God doesn’t just return what was lost—He multiplies it. Even when it feels like something is slipping away, trust that restoration is always possible. And often, what comes back is better than what you thought you lost. Where in your life have you experienced loss? Can you trust that God will restore it—and more?
“I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.” – Joel 2:25
Reflection Questions:
What are you holding on to that you need to let go of and trust God with?
Where in your life feels out of control, and how would inviting God into that space bring peace?
How would your life change if you truly believed that what’s meant for you will never pass you by?
Remember, letting go doesn’t mean giving up—it means trusting God’s order and knowing that He sees the bigger picture. We do our part, but the outcome? That’s all in His hands.
Love you a BILLI and beyond,
Zozo
