[OPEN THIS ONE!] 5 Things to Do Before the Year Ends
Life is too short to not paint your own paintings
TIKTOK IS NOW ADDED IN THE GIFT GUIDE!
Life Is About Learning to Paint Your Paintings
If you’ve spent 5 minutes with me IRL you’ll know how weird I am. Not the quirky, new girl, millennial weird, but the, is she a lil…..does she have a….is she…? But in the chicest way possible. Anyway, my point is not to put you off to who I actually am, but I’ve been thinking about this idea of obsession and why most outliers in life and society and culture tend to be really weird.
Think of the most popular influencer you follow and like. Think of the mind they had to possess to begin doing what they’re doing when it didn’t exist. Think of the most successful company or brand you love. Before they existed, they probably just felt like something like them should be in the world or exist.
Think of the most popular artists you know. We love their work not because it’s art, but because it’s THEIR art. With the danger of sounding terribly cliché, the world doesn’t need the version of you trying to be something. We need the version of you being more of what you already are. In order for anything you do to succeed, ironically, it doesn’t need other people’s methods or strategies or tips, it needs how you would do it. What’s unique to you is the foundation of a life unlike anyone else’s.
Isn’t that the life you’ve always wanted to live anyway?

Gift Guide for the Most Beautiful Girl You Know
There’s this pressure that shows up around December. The pressure to have already figured out next year. To have your word picked, your vision board done, your goals written in some aesthetically pleasing notebook you bought specifically for this purpose.
But here’s the thing, January 1st will come, and you will have a plan of what to do, I’ll make sure of that, but doesn’t mean you have to obsess over it. You’re a person who gets to have a life, not just a list of things to optimize.
So before the year closes out, here are five things worth doing:
Forget “manifestation” (derogatory). Forget trying to pick images that represent your highest self. Just... what do you like? What looks beautiful to you right now? A vision board doesn’t have to be a blueprint. It can just be a collection of things that make you feel something. That’s allowed. And a necessary first step to mapping out next year.
This one sounds simple but it’s actually not. Most of us spend December cataloging everything we didn’t do. Every goal we didn’t hit. But what if you just... didn’t do that this year? What if instead you practiced saying “I’m someone who...” and finished the sentence with something kind? I’m someone who doesn’t quit. I’m someone who shows up for the people I love. I’m someone who’s on her way to better than the best. I’m someone worth getting to know. I’m someone worth allowing to rest.
Not a hot girl walk. Not a “getting my steps in” walk. Just a walk. Outside. No podcast, no plan, no optimization. Just you and the air and whatever your brain wants to think about. No headphones! December is cold in most places, which means we spend a lot of it indoors, under blankets, on our phones. A walk is a smol defection from that. A tiny way of saying my body was designed to move and so I’ll be doing that, thank you.
When’s the last time you did something just because you liked doing it? Not because it would become a side hustle. Not because you wanted to post about it. Just because it was fun and you wanted to. Something that isn’t scrolling. That thing you keep saying you don’t have time for, the painting, the baking, the weird little craft you saw on TikTok, you have time for it. December is actually the perfect time. The year is winding down. Give yourself permission to do something just for the joy of it. The season is about joy stop swimming against the current.
This is the real one. The umbrella over everything else. So many of us have been in survival mode this year, getting through, holding on, making it work. And that’s valid. You need years like that. Seasons like that. But before the year ends, I want you to ask yourself: when’s the last time I had fun? Not productive fun. Not “I should enjoy this” fun. Actual, genuine, made you laugh and thank God for the gift of life fun. And if you can’t remember, that’s your ONLY assignment. One fun thing. Before December 31st. You deserve it.
Q: What’s the one immaterial gift you’re giving yourself this year? Why?
I get prettier and hotter everyday! I can’t wait for TOMORROW
Jesus made this the best day of my LIFEEE
I am young, skinny, hot, and there are endless opportunities before me
This week it’s a repeat because I’m pretty sure you didn’t listen well enough the first time. 😉
