Do you know what I love so much? You can be somewhere in the world, and someone else can be somewhere else, but you can STILL BE TOGETHER.
You can talk on FaceTime or whatever it is and honestly, that’s what the realm of the spirit feels like to me. I can be here, Jesus can be there and here wherever He is in that moment, and we can still be in constant communication.
I feel like since it’s March, we should talk about how to make the most of it.
But also, I don’t know. I went pretty hard at the start of the year. And I don’t regret it at all. It was 100% worth it. But it does make me ask: what is March really about? What happens when you come out of a season of starting the year strong?
I know, it’s funny that I’m calling it a season when the year is only two months in, and one of those months was the shortest one. But stay with me.
What I’m trying to say is this: when you’re doing really well, there can be a temptation to self-sabotage.
Not because you can’t keep going, and not because you shouldn’t. It’s because comfort can start to pull at you. Rest can start to look good when it’s not really time to rest - REST ISNT BAD DO NOT CALL THE POLICE ON ME. But now that we’re all lowkey at the age where we get at least one baby or wedding registry link every few months, we gotta become the masters of times and seasons.
Your time and your season isn’t synced with anyone else’s it is completely your own
I really think March is about guarding your heart and your mind. Honestly, this whole beginning of the year is about that. That’s why I’ve had y’all praying every morning!!
I’m just doing my part, omg. Prayer is the greatest defense we have. And spirit-filled prayer is the highest level of it all.
Today’s Prayer
Lord Jesus every gate in my life I subject it to your will
Every gate in my life I command it to bow to your will
The gate of my mind submit yourself to JKessu
The gate of my soul submit yourself to Jesus
The gate of my spirit submit yourself to Jesus
The gate of my body submit yourself to Jesus
Therefore no other gates will be able to infiltrate me because my gates are dedicated to Jesus

from all forms of discouragement, pain, fatigue, and more. This is not the time to back down from anything. Not when you’re closer than you’ve ever been to what you’ve been moving toward this whole time.
Let me repeat it again for my skimmers, because attention spans are hard to manage these days:

Continue steadfastly. Continue in what God told you. Continue in how He told you. Keep leaning on Him and resting in Him. Don’t stop. Never stop. Never quit. Never surrender.

Anyway though go have a phenomenal weekend. I will be watching Bridgerton now that Netflix has wrapped up this drops edition of its dumb farce of releasing seasons in parts, and I will be eating carbs and popcorn because mission miniscule is in full swing BUT it’s the weekend, let me live.
