The only way to assure your mindset doesn't block you is to align your soul with what God has told you. He may have told you through His word, your true heart's desires, or His spoken word.

God is always thinking of you. The angel that walks with you is ever mindful of you. God has set His angels to camp around you, and to keep your feet from ever stumbling. Do you get what that means? Itâs impossible for you to stumble. No matter what you do. No matter what you attempt. Even if it looks like youâve stumbled or are about to stumble, or are in fact stumbling... thatâs just your perspective, sweet strawberry.
God doesnât see how we see. Ask Him to change your perspective to the most accurate one youâre capable of comprehending.
đ„ thinking thoughts đ
Iâm a creature of habit. Unless Iâm doing the same thing every morning for 4+ days or more, Iâll struggle. I need routine. So, this morning, I was sitting on my thinking chair (where all my good ideas come) having my morning coffee. Then, something struck me. Not physically, calm down, but it felt like that to my spirit.
And it was this: âAllow God to write your story.â Which seems like a corny Pinterest quote until I explain what my inner dialogue was before. People assume God speaks loudly and audibly, which He can, and He does, but Jesus is literally always there. He knows your thought stream. So when an interjection hits your spirit like a bag of bricks and it relaxes you immediately.
My thought stream went a little like this:
(And donât clown me because weâre all friends here leave me alone I used to write fanfiction and have not only a One Direction fanficiton Tumblr, but an NBA one as well.)
Right? *baby violin for me this morning* Itâs very bbg.
But for so long, I assumed the things I wanted were authentic. This included where I wanted to live, what I wanted to do, and how I wanted to be. But Iâve changed, rather, Jesus has healed my heart, and made me whole. What I used to want, was a trauma responseâŠan attempt to heal my inner child (something you cannot do on your own), but not Godâs dream for me.
Godâs dreams are for the healed version of me, and healing is exponential, your potential in light is unlimited. Thatâs why He does exceedingly above all we could ever ask or think because Heâs giving to the us He knows we are at our core, the us He foreknew, and predestined.
Those long term desires written in your heartâŠask yourself if theyâre what you still want, or if theyâre responses to the conditions that birthed them in the first place. You might be surprised on this glorious Monday in July.

Youâre basically going to do the opposite of vision statements. Think about the answers to these questions and write them down:
What you donât want in a relationship
What you donât want in your career
What you donât want your family life to look like
What you donât want to look like
What you donât want to do day to day
What will happen a year from now if you keep doing the same things
Example: a year from now Iâll still be self conscious and unhappy in my body because I didnât start nourishing my body well and exercising
Example: I will be working the same job I hate because I was too scared to go after my dreams pursuing content creation
That should light your fire. đ
